Item Of The Week: Christie Brown

The 'in thing' at the moment are statement necklaces and what best way to support our culture if not by wearing our Ankara prints?

African fashion is definitely a force to be reckoned with around the globe, with the likes of foreign personalities embracing the designs.

The fashion item to look at this week is the statement necklace by Christie Brown. Aisha Obuobi of Christie Brown is a Ghanaian designer who has been on the scene for quite some time now, and I must say she makes Africans proud on the fashion scene with the use of Ankara prints. Her collection ranges from dresses to accessories hailing from the runway to red carpet events.

Good news is that even though several American celebs have been spotted rocking Christie Brown, she has also opened retail space for you and I (fab right?) ^_^

Let's Talk About Nails

Feels like forever since I last blogged, not that I don't have you guys in mind....I've just been in and out of hospital with my ill health, but goody I'm back and feeling better :)

This week its all about nails. Nails have now become a fashion accessory and one thing we ladies do nowadays is to check out the nails of the girl thats standing right next to us (well I speak for myself lol).
